The official End-of-Summer holiday AKA Labor Day is quickly approaching! If you don’t have any plans and are looking for something to do during the 3-day holiday weekend, here are some fun Labor Day Weekend events in Orange County. Events derived from the OC Register’s Events Calendar.

August 31- September 2

Orange County Cruisin’ Association, Inc will hold its 30th annual “Great Labor Day Cruise.”

The event is located at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa. The Great Labor Day Cruise is a family event, with activities for kids, including a model car contest, wild wagons display, face painting and more. Also, OCCA, Inc will hold a silent auction with 100% of the proceeds going to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Saturday, September 1

My Edible Garden in September from 9-10 a.m. at Roger’s Gardens in Corona del Mar.

Karaoke Fest 2012 continues at the Orange County Market Place with Creme de La Creme and Creme de la Kids performances. Semi-finals take place Sept. 2.

Farmers’ Market and Gourmet Food Trucks from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at SOCO.

Sunday, September 2

The Balboa Bay Club & Resort has summer Sunday Evening Dinner BBQs on the outdoor terrace of Duke’s Place overlooking the bay. Guests will find a perfect way to wind down the weekend, with a delicious dining experience from 4:30-7:30 p.m. In addition to the fantastic view, amazing cuisine, and new fire pits on the Balboa Bay Club Terrace, a festive atmosphere is created by live music and the island sounds of Coconut Frank, performing live Steel Drum Calypso and Reggae music.
